2000 Foot Peaks in England and Wales

As one of my New Year's Ressies, I thought that it would be a nice idea to top out all the mountains in England and Wales. The idea is that it would be something of an achievement and would get me some fresh air, nice views and get me fit.

We spoke to a friend called Fred about it this weekend and it turned out that he'd completed them relatively recently. (We'd no idea!) He doesn't have children so he has every weekend to please himself. I was going to use the Nuttalls' list of 432 due to the accessibility of recent information about them. Fred used one by a guy called Bridge and there were just over 400 on his list.

I have set my sights a little lower. I intend to pick off the Welsh 3000'ers this year (one by one). I have 7 to go!
