Per the earlier post I regret to report the following. The Highpointers Club roster lists a member in 2001 by the name of John Biggs with an address of Windsor, California.

Laura Pierce is the secretary at the Windsor Community United Methodist Church. She said Friday morning that she had been told by his family that John Biggs is dead.
Hillman was in fair condition Friday with a head injury and lacerations.
The accident apparently happened when two climbers slipped about 800 feet below the summit. As they slid, they took others in their group and a second group with them. The climbers fell about a thousand feet and slid into the crevasse.
Hillman told his wife, Holly, Thursday night that Biggs was the first to fall into the crevasse and he was one of the last.
