Man Wearing Kilt (and nothing undernearth) Heads for Everst Base Camp for Charity

BIG-HEARTED Bob Ellis is taking on the world's highest mountain wearing his kilt and vows to keep it traditional by wearing nothing underneath.

The 54-year-old councillor will be raising cash for charity by making the 10-day trek to Everest base camp, sporting a lightweight Macpherson clan kilt, designed for the expedition.

Bob raised more than £3000 for the charity Enable while trekking in Patagonia two years ago but he expects Everest to be a much bigger challenge.
