Mt Schwarzenegger looms into view
Georgia - the country in Europe, not the American state - plans to name a mountain after Arnold Schwarzenegger.
A presidential official in the western province of Imereti said local people had long wanted to rename a peak after the star of the Terminator movies.
Now he has been elected governor of California, the official said, the time is ripe for a visit and a new name.
Set among the Caucasus mountains, Georgia would appear to have a peak or two to spare for the actor.
Temur Shashiashvili, Imereti's presidential representative, said the decision to rename a mountain had been taken two years earlier and an invitation had been issued for Mr Schwarzenegger to visit.
The visit never happened, however, due to the actor's ill-health, he added.
Imereti now wants to extend a new invitation along with a message of congratulations after the actor's landslide win in California this week.
In the original invitation, Mr Schwarzenegger was asked to come and watch mountaineers scaling the mountain to be named after him.
Mr Shashiashvili did not specify which of the ex-Soviet state's mountains stood to take on the name of the world's most famous ex-bodybuilder.
