A GIRL aged five has become the youngest person to climb all of Britain’s highest peaks.

Rebekah Noakes clambered to the top of 4,409ft Ben Nevis in Scotland, 3,207ft Scafell Pike in England and 3,558ft Snowdon in Wales.

She got a taste for climbing on a Lake District holiday last spring.
Experienced walkers applauded her on Scafell Pike. And the Guinness Book of Records is considering including her.

Rebekah, of Pratts Bottom, Kent, said: “It’s good fun.” Her dad, David, 32, a civil servant, said: “She’s amazing.”

Mum Fiona, 34, added: “She hates walking to school but 12 miles up a mountain is no problem.

“No doubt when she is older we will get a call saying “Hi, I’ve just climbed Mount Everest!”,,2-2003491721,00.html
