I don't necessarily try to stand on every rock on a summit to make sure I truly reach that tip-top point. Some are a bit dodgy ie pointed or a sheer-sided boulder. I touch each top if I can & figure that's good enough. On G'pe I touched the top of the little 3-sided AA/USPS pyramid & tried to find the natural HP nearby. I figure if you've basically reached the summit that'll do. Some are so flat (Mt. Bross, Colo., not an HP) it's hard to tell.
