A CLIMBER escaped with a broken arm and cuts after he tumbled 500 ft down a mountain.
The young German was climbing in Glencoe with two pals when he slipped on ice at the weekend.
The drama happened as the trio tackled 3658-foot Stob Coire nan Lochan.
Mountain rescuers were called out and the man was later flown to hospital in Fort William by RAF helecopter.
