The body of twenty-eight year old Jason Gaumond from Southbridge Massachusetts was recovered in the Yale Gully area on the eastern flanks of Mount Washington on Thursday. Apparently, Gaumond was an experienced hiker who had recently completed the White Mountain 4000 foot peaks but was reportedly underequipped for this technical climbing area.
