Injured climber dies before reaching hospital

Response to Ongoing rescue effort on Rainier's Liberty Ridge
 

Sadly, Peter Cooley, 39, of Cape Elizabeth, Maine, died before reaching the hospital after being injured in a fall on Rainier's Liberty Ridge route. He is survived by a wife and three children.
