Response to Fire Temporarily Closes I-40 at Flagstaff as Arizona Burns Again

HANNAGAN MEADOWS, AZ - Firefighters used another burnout operation Sunday along Arizona 191 on a stubborn wildfire that has burned more than 4,000 acres of mountainous terrain in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests.

The burnout to kill fuel that could feed the 'KP' fire may continue into today, said fire information spokeswoman Terri Wildermuth.
