12,000 Expected for 197 Mile Long Hood to Coast Relay

PORTLAND, ORE. - Runners and walkers will soon take over Oregon's highways as they make their way from Mount Hood all the way to the Oregon Coast.
This year marks the 23rd annual Fred Meyer Hood to Coast Relay, which is the largest relay in the world.

Runners and walkers will begin their trek on Friday starting from Timberline Lodge on Mount Hood.

For three days, teams will make their way from there to Seaside on the Oregon coast.
