Response to Eagle Peak Yellowstone

Two parties have visited this highpoint for our research in our upcoming guidebook. You may wish to "test" our draft chapter which I can email to you.

I am thinking of doing this peak yet this season and certainly next season, if you wish to join.

The two parties used the east approach (northeast from outside the park) and encountered Class 4+ cliff bands above the pass. A study from the summit concluded that the west approach (northwest from the lake) would be only Class 2.

Grizzley Bears are likely to be encountered.
