All highpoints are created equal in their own way. Not every highpoint can be a Denali or a Katahdin, but they each have unique qualities which any true highpointer can appreciate. We don't give extra credit just because you climbed Denali or Rainier. There are no aterisks next to the names of the people who've done the "hard" ones. 25 pins are given to anyone who attains 25 highpoints. It doesn't matter which 25 you've climbed, hiked, or driven to.
I know a man who started highpointing at age 74. His goal is to reach 25. He won't climb Denali nor will he climb Rainier, but when he gets his 25th, he deserves his pin just as a twenty-five year old who's climbed all the "tough" ones.
So when it comes to conventions, let's do 'em all before we start repeating.
