Denver Post, 3.9.06 -
Governor Ownens used the outdoor balcony off the Captitol's rotunda as the venue to sign the bill which removes liability of landowners and claimowners on Mt. Lincoln, Democrat, and Bross. No mention of Mt. Wilson, etc. was made in the article. The bill also requires that the USF and climbing clubs must post signs warning of dangerous mines, mark the trails to use, and educate the public about property rights. The bill is the highest ever signed in Colorado. - John M.
