A group of 5 of us hiked in via Glacier Trail starting on June 18th and climbing the mountain on June 21st. We met no one on the hike in and four parties on the hike out.
Snow was minimal on the hike in (surprisingly so, as the Idaho white Cloud Mountains were snowed in at the same time). Mosquitoes were bad at lakes and on Dinwoody Creek. Weather was very good: only a couple mild thunderstorms all week.
Glacier showed a few bare ice spots but nothing we had to cross. Snow was very soft up above and we postholed a trench above the Gooseneck. Future parties should pay us royalites for trailbreaking
Chris Anderson, firstname.lastname@example.org, would likely be happy to give you more information, as would I. Just holler.
