Returned Sunday night from a 7 day, 2100 mile, 8 state and county highpointing jamboree. My excuse was a 3 day course in Cleveland with a viewing of the Cleveland Symphony, sandwiched between 2 days at each end for hikes. Climbed Ind,Ohio,Penn,Md, and WV state HP's and am happy to report that they all are where they are supposed to be located. Am up to 20 states and have successfully bisected the country. Also completed 26 county HPs (up to 123) in 7 states and realized I was a truly sick person when I found myself wandering through overgrown lot with 6'weeds and briars after dark with a headlamp on my head in the rain. Try explaining that to a policeman, a 42 yo physician........ "Boy, What IN the HELL are you a do'in!!"

OCHS you say???? Obsessive Compulsive Highpointing Syndrome: source of marital and family conflict, bank account draining, and wholly untreatable. I say; "Highponters of the world unite, you have nothing to lose but your shame!! (or was that pain?)"
