A friend of my sister's visited the skywalk and 'loved it'.
The focus on Las Vegas seems to be holding true. It's hawked heavily there as a daytrip. You never hear of it in Arizona - the Hualapai probably realize that no one from the populated areas of AZ will want to drive an extra 120 miles to see something they can see for free, closer, with more impressive drop-offs, and without the restrictions on time and photography.
My sister's friend is a nice lady but one who never camps or goes into the backcountry ever. To her this was a perfect way to see a big hole in the ground.
