ORDWAY, COLORADO - A devastating grass fire that burned 8,900 acres in Crowley County and claimed the lives of two firefighers is now 90 percent contained.
In addition, a pilot working on a separate fire in El Paso County was killed Tuesday.
Fire spokesman Chris Sorensen said this morning that the Crowley blaze "affected in some fashion" eight structures in Ordway and another 16 outside the city limits.
