160 attended a ceremony today to dedicate the newly surveyed highpoint of the Washington, D.C.
Officials from various local government and private organizations attended and spoke during the 45 minute program, and a National Park Ranger provided a historical tour of Fort Reno.
The effort to get the highest ground surveyed and marked was led by Robert Hyman, who provided the energy needed to obtain the multi-agency approval for the in-ground marker.
