"D.C.'s Puny Peak Enough to Pump Up 'Highpointers'

This is a wonderful article about the newly surveyed & marked highpoint of Washington D.C. This article has two photos and features the amazing efforts of Robert Hyman to finally survey the highest natural ground of Fort Reno and get a marker placed there (no small feat considering the numerous
official channels needed for approval!). Formerly, the highpoint was accepted as the berm around the reservoir at Fort Reno, but this was man-made build-up.
