Response to You've got some great hikes left

I very much agree with this response. I just got back from a 4 state highpointing trip in the south east which brought me to 41. For me, highpointing is more more about experiencing the off-interstate America than about anything else. Otherwise, it's quite hard to justify flying cross country just to stand in some corn field. There are only so many of the big mountain HPs to climb. On this latest trip, I got to see some great back country, struck conversation with some interesting people, and got to eat some great food. And best of all, I had the audio version of "Blue Highways" to keep me company. I have never heard of this book until I randomly picked it up from my local library. What a great find for a trip like this...

Hang in there!
