Response to Mt. Cheaha misadventure!

don't worry, kev...i did the same thing in broad daylight. had to walk up and down that walkway several times.
then i got back in the car and realized i had no brakes. yikes!
fortunately, i have a standard shift and tip toed down to taladega. i had some concerns about getting fleeced(with my new york tags) but found this place that did brakes and transmissions.
the guy listened to my story and just said to wait 15 minutes. i tried and sure enough, the brakes were back! he said i had boiled my brake fluid and should have no problem now.
then he showed me the back way to the track...passed Hubcap City(wow) and i ended up standing at the base of turn two, taking pics(don't try this...they'll toss ya...take the tour)
anyways, a big hats off to the kind folks of taladega and all throughout the south who were so kind and helpful!!
