Ishpatina Ridge

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone here has climbed Ishpatina Ridge - Ontario's highpoint.

After reading a couple of sources, it seems as though this ridge is accessible only by canoe or kayak. However, a quick glance at a Gov't topo reveals a small maintenance road used by a previous mining company which seems to go right to the ridge. It crosses a couple of streams but I figure one should be able to tackle this 30km road on a mountain bike.

Can anyone confirm this ?
