John,

Thanks for posting this excellent trip report of Mt. Rainier. I haven't been on the forum much in the past few months and just got a chance to read it. It sure brought back some memories of my first attempt at Rainier last summer after the Konvention. I thought it very accurately described what to expect and what it takes both physically and mentally to reach the summit of Mt. Rainier. I wish I would have read it before my first attempt and will definitely read it again prior to my next attempt.
