HP Club 2006 Directory to Printers, Wednesday 5.31.06

May 31 2006 at 2:22 PM

  (Login JohnMx)

I just finished uploading our Directory to the printer's ftp.

Dave, Craig, and I have updated everything from last year's Directory. I feel this is our best product yet, and I do hope you use it often as a reference document (or as a doorstop or anchor - it's Huge!).

Enjoy the improvement of the completer tables.

Now we focus on the summer newsletter which should be easy to create because we have SO MUCH STUFF that's been submitted from everyone.

Idaho Leader! All 50 states with teams! June 24, 2006

June 14 2006, 2:17 PM

The 50-50-1 organization found a high-profile local to lead a team up Borah Peak, thus there is a team for all 50 states to stand on top on June 24, 2006. The Denali team has departed.

To fill the gap, I volunteered to lead a team up SD and ND. If anyone would like to participate in this unusual event and lead a team on either of these states, please contact me! If anyone wants to join my team, please be at Sylvan Lake TH for an 8am start.

One Month in the Making! .... to PO 6.27.06

June 27 2006, 2:32 PM

The huge directory and photo-jammed summer issue is off to the Post Office today.

Find a shade tree and settle in for some pleasant summertime reading....

received in the Netherlands.... on 6.27.06!

June 28 2006, 10:13 PM

Sjaak reports he has his copy. How can this be you may wonder? It's because we must mail the foreign members separate from the bulk domestic mailing. The day I send the bulk magazines to the mailing house I also stuff the envelopes for our non-USA members and take them to the Post Office.

This issue should be delivered starting in the next day or so. As usual, Roger in NYC may get his last....

you are in the db!

July 11 2006, 3:37 PM

I checked the label database and you are in it. Assuming the mailing house did its job - we can move on to raising an eyebrow at the USPS.

The worth will be the wait.

Well, it will be tomorrow. Still waiting. Was it something I said? I generally try to avoid getting myself black-listed.

7/27 in St. Louis

July 28 2006, 11:01 PM

Our newsletter and membership book arrived yesterday, 7/27/06.

Must be a lot of USPS workers taking vacation this time of year! (That, and maybe it was held up somewhere around St. Louis because of the extended power outages after last week's storms.)

NOT TRUE!

July 23 2006, 3:11 AM

Even Board members get them late! Case in point: I still haven't seen mine. Maybe it got cooked in the 110 degree heat we had here in Sacramento today! NC should be cool in comparison. See ya soon! JES

I haven't ...

July 23 2006, 7:58 PM

...received my copy either. I live about 30 miles from Suffern, NY where it arrived July 15th, hmmm... Hate the post office, maybe not. But if all copies were mailed to Club members the same day, this doesn't 'speak well' of the US Postal Service.

Maybe I'll get it tomorrow and have some new reading material for a plane flight to Vegas in the evening. Oh yeah, yep, I checked an old mailing label; good until "last issue paid: 06-4Q." So I guess I'm still an HP Club member, but dues need to be sent.

Yep. You're on Mailing List. - Good feedback for PO. - We replace missing nl

July 28 2006, 1:49 PM

I checked the mailing label database, and you are included.

This feedback from everyone is very good information to supply (in some format) to the mailing house and the USPS.

Let me know if you haven't received your issue and I'll send a replacement copy.
