We've just begun an experiment -- we are reformatting select state chapters from
Highpoint Adventures & offering them individually for Kindle (or any compatible download device, such as PCs, Macs, iPads, smart phones, etc.) Right now, we've converted 4 highpoint chapters:
NY - Mt. Marcy
TX - Guadalupe Pk
VA - Mt. Rogers
VT - Mt. Mansfield
We're posting the chapters using COLOR photos, and sometimes adding additional photos that didn't make it into either edition of the paperback. Each chapter costs 99¢, which is the minimum price that Amazon lets us set for Kindle books.
If the response is positive, we'll probably end up making about 10-12 highpoint chapters available on Kindle.
You can find these selections on Amazon by doing a search on their site for "highpoint winger".
Looking forward to feedback from Highpointers on this experiment of ours!
BTW, we've also issued a Special Reprint edition of the 2002
Highpoint Adventures (the one with my photo on the cover), and it is available through Amazon or directly from us if you go to our online bookstore:
