Pakistani long-range, nuclear-capable ballistic missile Shaheen II, with a range of up to 2,000 km (1,250 miles), is seen during the National Day parade in Islamabad March 23, 2005. Pakistan's President Pervez Musharraf said during the parade that he welcomed steps to improve ties with rival India, but said a real solution to their dispute had to be found. Iran will fight only on the hiways , it is a hiway war

who wants to fight off road ???

it is bumpy , it may damage the equipments ,

it is much safer to stay on the hiway , and streets

Are you talking about off-road Shahab launchers? I don't think Iran needs them. Aren't the launch sites pre-selected and the missile loaded with flight programming based on it's launch location? In that case a dirt road will do. I doubt these missiles are requried to launch from any random location; maybe the extra complexity and redced accuracy would be worth it if these missiles had nuke warheads. I would bet the flight trajectory is pre-programmed in to these missiles based on launch site location and other factors and these locations at least have dirt road access.

From satellites and survalence aircraft it's harder to detect a mobile launcher traveling on a highway than it is to detect a it in motion where nothing else is moving. The best place to hide a Shahab missile launcher is near cargo trucks of similar size.
