Iran is building the Heavy Water Reacrtor IR-40 (Arak) on it's own. It's similar in design to the Pakistani Plutonium Production Reactor? Well any reactor needs cooling and gas exhaust and what's wrong with using old tested designs. The implication is that Iran intends to produce Plutonium with this reactor, but it's gonna be under IAEA monitoring, so ...

A comparison with the analogus Plutonium Production Reactor at Khushab, in Paksitan, reveals similar design elements, including the circular reactor containment vessel, nearby reactor cooling plant, and exhaust gas stack. (c) Digital Globe.

No, this design is UNIQUE.
In my talks with a very high ranking nuclear official,
I was eagerly told that the Iranian designed reactor is unique
in the world and there is no other design like it.
Also, you must note that the Pakistani reactor is actually
not a Pakistani design and I do believe is actually a Chinese design,
so therefore, the Pakistanis would actually not be able to provide
any designs to Iran, even if they wanted to.

So Hadi what do you think is happening between iran and big three?
Why iran and big three can not find the common solution?

Well, as far as I understand, the EU 3 has already accepted Iran’s right to enrich uranium.
They have asked Iran to give them some time to convince the U.S that they have no choice but to allow Iran to enrich its own uranium.
Iran was going to give them a final offer, which I don’t know the details of, and they had threatened that if this offer was not accepted, then they will withdraw from the negotiations.
But the Europeans simply can’t go on their own and accept Iran enriching uranium, due to their economic interests in the U.S.
