They were really cool, they had some strange support act that were loud and strange and kept swapping instruments,

as for Manics, well, when they first came on they had army style outfits on, the opened with You Love Us then Motorcycle Emptiness, did a new kne then some old ones, mixed all the eras up really well, James made a Boo boo, they were giggling then he said 'sorry, we're laughing cos I just made a massive f**k up but cant tell you what it is' then after the next song Nicky said 'So what are we playing now James?' so I dont know if James announced and started playing the wrong song, it was just after Faster, if it was unexpected they played it really well!!

Then Nicky and Sean went off and James did Yes accoustically, I dont know if he did something else, I dont think he did, then the others came back out and nicky was wearing a rush t shirt and a short leopard print flowy type skirt!

Anyway, they were fantastic, quite loud, it was a small venue so could get quite close, we were some of the youngest people there, there were some very confused looking people, must have bought the new album and not heard of them before that, was cool, at the end just before Design For Life James said 'we'll be back here at christmas' so hopefully a new tour for them, we should def go!!!

I sang lots of songs to Martin on the way home, he really enjoyed the Manics but wasn't keen on my singing!!!

Cherry Ghosts are supporting manics in dec, i have heard of them but couldn't tell you what they had done thought they are at V so might be able to check them out there, there's not many good bands on till the evenings so should be able to fit them it!
