This doesn't post as a link, but you can copy/paste the URL to view the post.

Read all the follow up info, and be very careful if/when you mess w/ triggers.

Aluminum Trigger

I posted a couple of pictures of the custom trigger I made for my gun on this thread. However, I did not take one of the disassambled trigger, but I plan to take one next time I disassamble this gun (which will be soon, as I have some materials on the way for a tune I plan to make, including making a custom Delrin Spring Guide, a Naval Brass Top Hat, and polishing of the spring chamber - maybe even new synthetic seals if I can find some that fit).

Basically, I took the plastic trigger and used it as a guide, but extended the part that makes contact with the sear (keeping the same angle), and rounded to top part of it. This slihtly changed the geometry of the trigger, and reduced the trigger pull and creep significantly.

Trigger mod pictures

Here's a picture of the original trigger along with my custom made trigger. The real differences (the ones that make any shooting difference, in any case) are that the sear release face (top left part of the trigger on the picture) is a bit longer (moved to the left of the picture) while keeping the same angle. This removes some of the distance the trigger needs to travel back for the sear to be released. Also, the pin hole was made exactly to the same diameter as the pin; inthe original trigger, the pin hole was wider than the pin, and this caused some side to side movement of the trigger. Since I was not going to use the second spring this trigger has, I did not need to make the part where the spring sits in (top right in the stock trigger), so I just made the back of the trigger in an easier to make shape.

Regarding the Delrin spring guide, I will not be able to do it, as the stock spring guide is also the rear of the action. I think I will make the brass top guide, however, and Most defenetly the rest of the tune-up (the gun is desassambled as I type this). I will post some pictures of the ineer workings of the gun later on for those interested in tuning this gun. Remember, though, mine is the brazilian version!
