After all I'm reading, re: Winchester 1000, are they worth considering. It seems all I am reading is the problems folks have with them. What are the chances of getting one from Walmart that you don't have to be a airgunsmith to enjoy shooting? Do all of them have plastic triggers? I read, perhaps in this forum, of one fella having one with a walnut stock and metal trigger. Are these available anywhere? Thanks, Harlee

My winchester 800x has a gorgeous wood stock but a plastic trigger.

The trigger pull out of the box is horrible, the scope rings on the combo package are a joke.

If you don't like tinkering buy something else.
