I just received my winchester 1000xs from Sportsman's Guide (after reading Harlees Post I decided to try them) and to my suprise he was dead on on his review I counter sunk the trigger adjusting screw and put moly on the trigger sear and that's it and I couldn't be more pleased. At 70 feet I'm hitting center target every shot and the trigger is as smooth as silk.I tried to mount the scope but it moved to much so I ordered a new one piece scope mount from airgun warehouse hope it works. I would like to thank everyone who takes the time to post such useful information on this site it's helped me alot. Jim

Ive seen both the new and older verison and prefer the model where the stock hides the cocking mech where the barrel is attached. Gart sports has a couple of the newer wood stock style ones and older. Older seemed heavier and clunky.
