I like this thing for the price it's great $100. with scope(rings junky though) at wal-mart. But had to buy better one piece mount with scope stop pin so i spent a little more. Scope has held up well so far.
It shoots well once you learn how to hold it. The old powder burner tight hold was not good. once you learn to let her dance on her own a little it'll tighten up the groups alot.
Mine is somewhat pellet selective but not bad it shoots three or four types of pellets about the same for me.
Hollow stock was kinda loud so I pulled buttpad off and drilled whole in end and filled with tw0-part epoxy. it is a little heavy but seem like less vibration and noise now.
Also i took off the sight's and put a beeman muzzle brake on it and like it alot better now. It is alot more safe and comfortable feel when cocking.
With the beeman brake and the stock filled it balances perfect on the forgrip where i hold gun at. so thats a plus. To me anyway i like the feel of it now. with a good lubetune it would be even better i'd say or at least a little quiter than now.
Alot of people knock them but for the price i think its not bad at all(except factory ring's i had nothing but sight in trouble with them). And it work's fine I have dispatched 27 starlings a few at a time this year with the daisy 1000 a few at about fifty yards.
The only thing i don't like is lack of replacement parts. If your past warrenty and something breaks it might be all over for it.

and the kick it gives you is kinda fun if you ask me. Like you said, once you figure out the hold it groups well. I like your idea of the epoxy in the stock. I used expanding foam in mine as it is a bit lighter but I am sure either way is a major improvement.
It's funny that everyone complains about the scope mounts that come with the Powerline 3-9x32 scopes. I am actually using them with a 3-12x42 Barska at the moment with no problems. Glad this rifle has a scope stop though LOL.
My best results with this gun were attained by ballancing the rifle at it's forestock and keeping the butt loose at my shoulder. It will keep pellets touching at 30yds this way and will group within an inch on a good day at 50yds (my first time out with it).
Too bad people don't give them the credit they deserve but it's the same with the Chinese guns. Parts availability is alot like dealing with the Chinese stuff too but I enjoy the challenge of polishing a diamond in the rough.
Have fun.
