You can't buy one that I know of.

That's what Charlie Da Tuna, a known Gamo tuner recommended I do...  Fit the thick part to the internal diameter of the piston, and the thin part to the internal diameter of the spring.  For the length of each part, check out the dimensions of the pictures posted above.

saw that the only difference between the two was the tophat...so maybe I should re-state the question. where can I get a 1000x tophat to put in a 800x?

But making your own is not that hard if you have a lathe.  If not, you can always send it out to have it made (even better if you have a friend that can make it for you).  But as far as I know, Daisy does not sell internal parts for the Winchester.

I couldn't find anyone with the part either. My local welder has a milling mach. I'll ask him.
