So I came back from the shop with my new Gamo scopestop fitted. Fired of a couple of rounds (hitting South African 10c pieces at 10 meters) and was very pleased with myself.

After a couple of shots I tightend the scope mount and scope stop as per instructions and carried on.

Every time I shot I always tightend if need be but checked each time just in case.

500 pellets have now gone through since the Gamo scope stop was fitted but the last 100 did this

The recoil of the gun has made a complete mockary of any attempt to stop "scop creep"

Please if anyone knows how I can stop this without having to refit the scope every time I shoot I would really appriciate teh advise.

Alex

The only way is go to a one piece mount, I use accushot mounts. under $20 bucks !

www.Scragglepoint.com has good prices.

they have now fitted two rings and we'll see what joy that brings. The gunsmith and his wife hate the one piece systems but I kind of like it.

You can rest assured that I will keep you updated
