ya, so i posted a message about bending my barrel a while back. anyway, daisy handeled it free of charge (except for shiping) and, instead of replacing the barrel, they simply shipped me a brand new turkish 1000xs - the new edition with the checkered stock, rubber but pad, and largely improved trigger. [yes, for those who were wondering there really is a marked diference between the most recent edition's trigger pull and the earlier winchesters. however, i have yet to disassembal it to find out why it is better.] so, for anyone with a damaged daisy,don't hesitate to ship it back to the factory, their warrenty rocks- pretty much "no questions asked" - also, ship priority, turns out ist's cheaper than standard for packages that long.
o, i should also mention that they sent it with a 4x32 adj. objective scope,with cleaning cloth, covers, and see-thru mounts; none which were included with my first gun.
