Proper scope ring size.

Hello, man-o-man this forum's log-on is case sensitive so take note of that if you can't log-on. Been trying for several days.

Anyway, what is the proper size on the rings-3/8,10mm, or 11mm?

Go with the smaller size...

You can always adjust to larger size, bu not to smaller!  I use the Beeman rings that are rated 9mm to 13mm, if I am not mistaken...

I read there might be problem seeing the front sight through the scope if the rings are to low?? It seems a medium might work best for a 30mm scope??

well, it's true, but it not as big a problem...

In my 1000X, before I got the Muzzle Break, you could see the shadow of the front sight through the scope, but it was not a mayor problem (it was more like a "ghost" of the sight more than the sight itself).  After fitting the rifle with the muzzle break, though, the problem was gone!
