I have been reading the posts here for a while now and am impressed with the knowledge available from members.
However I am confused on the exact model I have. I got it from Sportsman's Guide some time back. It is marked a 1000x and has a really beautiful wood stock. But it also says it is made in Turkey, but it has the plastic trigger with no adjustment screw. Seems to be a combo of the descriptions I see here.
I want to make some of the trigger improvements suggested here, but I'm not sure which instructions to use?
Any suggestions?
Thanks for your help,
Joe

Early Turkish variants are based on the Brazilian design...

this must be what you have. None of the parts cross between the two and the trigger group is completely different.
A good disassembly and lube job helps these guns like any other but the trigger needs some TLC to be acceptable.
I have a guide for this gun. I'll check and post up if I find it.

Thanks Russ,
I appreciate the offer and will definitely take you up on it. I absolutely love to shoot this rifle and the wood is incredible also. If I could 'smooth it out' a little, I could shoot it with my little son also. He finds it difficult to shoot as-is. I'll email you soon and see if we can work out a time...
Thanks again!
