Hi guys im new to this forum and i have loved airguns since i was very young..i have just one question..are the specs of the daisy 1000x the same as the 500x..i am just wondering becuase i do not have an FAC(firearms aquisition cerificate) i am very mechanicaly inclined and are able to do all of my own mods..so i plan on buying a 500x and doing the neccesary mods needed to convert it into a 1000x

If the Hatsan 85 that I have is any indication there is about 3" of receiver tube length difference
The 500 has a stroke of around 2" and the big ones near 4" IIRC
Wait and buy a big one if you need to. Enjoy the 500x for the gun that it is. :)
Walter...
