For some odd reason when I cock my rifle it doesn't make that click noise at the end of cocking and I suppose it doesn't pump too. I checked the spring and seems fine, it pushes against cocking link and all but when you cock it all the way it doesn't make the barrel go limp like but pushes the barrel back into it's original position without pumping in any air.

I had this rifle for atleast three or so years now and it ain't the first time there's been problems. Just this time there's a problem that doesn't allow me to fire. I had troubles like the stock screws flying out during rabbit hunting and I lost that, the screw that hold down the scope stop snapped off and now the end is still stuck in the gun filling up a screw hole, and the pivot screw's tip is all mashed up so it can't go all the way into the breach block and get screwed in.

I love this rifle and all but lord, it really crapped out on me and I'm probably thinking about just selling it to someone as spare parts. Any one know how to help me on my original problem with cocking the gun?

That broken off screw is sticking down in the compression chamber and not letting it cock. Just remove the screw some how and it will fix the cocking problem
