I was repairing a 880 that i received for my Boy Scout Camp. I was looking at the two rifles. They seem to be similar in construction.

I am assuming that the 880 has a valve that allows for multipumps...??

I appreciate any help.

There aren't any easy methods that I am aware of. Seems the valve is the limiting factor based on the one's I've torn down. The pump on the 953 delivers more air than the 880 but the valve won't handle more than 1 pump. Shortening the cocking linkage and adding volume to the valve would do the trick I think but it looks like it would be a PITA.
