I bought my Winchester 1000 last summer and was somewhat pleased with its performance however I didn’t like the 15-20lb trigger tension and the travel distance. I read your trigger modification and preformed the entire modification including the two stage trigger mod in about 2 hours this evening. I don’t have any way of testing the actual trigger tension but it’s only a couple lbs now.

Your instructions were extremely accurate and intuitive.

Thanks again…

My main concern with the trigger guide is that anyone can make these changes and end up with a much better trigger. I think a lot of people are intimidated when it comes to tearing into a trigger for the first time so I tried to make it as clear as possible. Thanks for letting me know it worked.

I would bet that your accuracy has improved quite a bit now that it doesn't have that 15+ pound trigger. Let us know how it does.
