Does any one know where I can find a wooden stock to change out my synthetic. Or maybe a heavier synthetic that will fit. Hell, if there's a market for aftermarket stocks for air rifles, I might stop making electric guitars for a while and concetrate on wooden air gun stocks. Seems like they would sell faster.

Can you make me one that plays anything from Metalica when I shoot it. If you can do that then I would buy ten from you right now. Just kidding but I have seen them on ebay but I think they are for the crossman version of the daisy gun. But realy hearing low E every time you shoot would be cool.

I know someone near me who does a good job on gunstocks for pistols and rifles.
I imagine he can send you some pics of his work.
I don't know if he has any of the exotic hardwoods or even walnut, but if you send me your email address, I'll forward it to him and have him get in touch with you.
I haven't thought of getting a wooden stock for a 1000s but I'll bet that would cut down on the noise and also on some of the recoil which is so rough on scopes and mounts. My email is cgm205@yahoo.com.
Good luck with your stock.

The fiber composition (plastic) on my 1000 broke. The replacement stock (plastic) didn't last long. I bought a B-20 stock from Beat Air Guns. It took the better part of an evening to modify the stock to fit the 1000. It looks great. I was going to post a picture but couldn't figure out how to do it.
Good Luck,
John

I'd really like to see a pic or three of what you did to make that stock conversion work. Probably the best way to show pics on this forum is to sign up for one of those free image hosting accounts like PhotoBucket or Flickr, and upload the photos to their server. Then you can post the link address to the photos in your message here.

I talked to Daisy last week. The wooden stock is currently $65.00. The shipping is $6.50, but they asked if I would send them my rifle so they could ensure 'the right fit'.
