Powerline 1000s\replacement mainspring

Has ANYONE ever had any luck replacing the mainsrpring in the powerline 1000s?If so,what spring was used???

mainspring. You can get one through Crosman.
Drops the velocity down to 800-850fps but much smoother to shoot.

If you taken the spring out measure it with a digital caliper and go air rifle headquarters and see if maccarri has one to your specs.

No and the official answer from Daisy is that" they discourage anyone from working on their rifle...you may get hurt"
etc etc etc....liability is their excuse.
However, you may want to visit www.jgairguns.biz
email John. I did and he told me that they DO work on Daisy Powerline rifles.
I'm sending mine im May(at his suggestion)
