Hi everyone I have a Hatsan 55s that is similiar to the Winchester-daisy X1000 model.I want to install a new spring i bought,but despite being the same as the old one in all demensions and also with 43 coils,its longer then the old one 14 inches the old one is 11.5.Is it ok to install the new one,its exactly the same just a little longer. hi sam! can you share with us where did you bought your hatsan mod55s mainspring? do you think they will accept international orders? i have a hatsan mod60 and wants to have a spare of mainspring and piston seal for it. or maybe you know the size of your mainspring(OD,ID,lenght,#coils & diameter of spring), i think its just the same with my mod60.Thanks in advance

Ok Ran this is it,the OD is 19mm the ID 12.5mm 36cm long 43 coils,I eventually installed it and the gun is doing slightly over 15ft/lbs with the new spring and piston seal.The mainspring needs a compressor to get it in there,yours is the same model but in .22.A friend brought it from Greece,this guy dosnt send spare parts out of Greece nor has he an e-mail,I live in the UK.
