i see the dates are current, so i'ii ask a question

is anyone still playing with the daisy 1000? i got mine out the other day and ran a string thru the chrony. after a few shots, the gun would not latch during cocking. if it did cock, it would fire when closing the barrel. now, the big question, is there any place to buy trigger parts? it looks to me like the trigger assembly, sear parts, were not hardened very well and wore at an angle off the edge. also the plastic stock has many cracks that i epoxied. if i can't get trigger parts, then i will not need a new stock either, and will have to put the rifle in the spare parts box. what i did like about the 1000 is it's accuracy. it would punch one hole groops at 10 yds, and at over 900 fps. any help appreciated. john
