hadn't shot the powerline for a while so i got it out and shot it some. it started not cocking and if it did would fire on closing. the trigger sears appear to be the problem, to soft and wear out at about 2000 shots or so. so i called daisy and they don't sell internal parts and gun is past the 1 year waranty. i could send it to them with a check for $56.50 and they will replace it. with shipping and their charge it almost equals the origional price. not worth it.

is there a replacement trigger that will fit? any other way anyone has found to repair? i sure liked the way it shot, shame. john

I dont know which 100X you have, but mine is the one made in Brazil (different from the one made in Turkey).  I used some scrap aluminum and made a new trigger.  You can check out some pics of it here:

To make the trigger, I found a piece of scrap aluminum that was the same width as the original triger.  I then outlined the shape of the trigger I wanted with a pencil (I changed the shape so that it would have more leverage to soften the trigger pull, and remade the metal actuators as well), and then cut small holes with a drill all around it.  I punched out the trigger, and then went to work with a file until it was just right.  Hope this helps...
