I am at a serious loss for what to do. I bought this beautiful wood stocked Turkish 1000XS combo airgun. At first I was delighted with the gun. I am still impressed by the power, but I cannot make this gun accurate! I understand they are very hold-sensitive. I have fired probably a thousand shots in an attempt to site in the gun with no success. I replaced my scope mount with a one piece accushot. I regularly tighten all of the screws on the scope and the gun. I have tried every pellet I can find from the super light Gamo match up to the 11.something grain Beeman Silver Arrow. Last night, while shooting, my scope stop sheared off. The screw literally snapped and the scope stop flew off. I remounted the scope towards the back of the groves. Still, no luck sighting it in. I read about people with 1/2" groups at 30 yards...I cannot hit a soda can from 40 feet reliably, although one time I killed 4 doves with 4 shots! Something is wrong with me or the gun and I'm at my wits end. I hate to say this but sometimes I wish I never bought the thing. Can anyone please help!?
PS the "cracked seal" post and associated responses also refer to this specific 1000x. Thanks. |
