Harry Slime

I think you're probably right though "Harry" was getting increasingly bored with the "formers" site a long time before he actually pulled the plug on it. He stopped editing out the spam or the juvenile nonsense from "Bazarov" and once he discovered the ego-joys of the bloggosphere he never looked back.

On the "formers" site he originally posed as a disallusioned former member of Straight Left that still supported Cuban-style socialism. But on other message-boards he was already developing an anti-Muslim line that became a blatant apology for imperialism after 9/11.

Curiously enough his early vendetta against the Weedy Wanker provoked a lot of speculation amongst their tiny band about his identity even though John Chamberlain must surely have bumped into "Harry" when they were both in the old YCL.

Last year another blogger claimed that "Harry" was someone called "Simon Brunning". Though I have never met "Harry" I always thought he was another "Simon" altogether...
