Ostalgia! This prompted me to hunt for my Britain-GDR Society membership card from 1977 and lo-and-behold I found it. Obviously the society was originally named the GDR Travel Club and the card is in this name but with a crude stamp across with the societys new name.There is a record of yearly subscriptions with 1977 being £1.00 for the year!
